Phillip Lim embraced the the biker chic look this season with his "Sono Mama" titled F/W13 show - which means "as the way you are" in Japanese. Lim’s inspiration was the girlfriends of the "racer generation" - perhaps a nod to the brawny babes of Sons of Anarchy? The leather heavy collection included lots of moto jackets and vests, sexy over-the-knee boots, patch covered denim and patchworked shearling coats. The collection gave off a general air of nonchalance known to tough as nails women at complete ease with their own style.
