If you ever think about insane pop-ups, Louis Vuitton might always come to mind. This time, they are celebrating a milestone of the Monogram in the biggest way: with a temporary hotel in the heart of Mayfair that you can visit until 21 June. Pack your trunks and get your first-class tickets because we’re heading to London!
Travelling has become a relevant subject for many brands, relating lifestyle with the things that we wear and the unlimited possibilities of knowledge. In this sense, Louis Vuitton has been paving the way for over a century with their famous trunks, suitcases, and all types of accessories that make life on the go easier. And in doing so, the Monogram has become a symbol of freedom, savoir-faire and innovation.
Nestled in the heart of Mayfair, the Louis Vuitton Hotel is a fully immersive experience spread across multiple floors, each room dedicated to one of the Maison’s most emblematic bag designs: The Keepall, the Speedy, the Noé, the Alma, and the Neverfull. The choice of London is no coincidence either: back in 1885, Georges-Louis Vuitton chose the British city for his company’s very first international expansion, making this pop-up feel like a homecoming of sorts. Guests can also bring their Louis Vuitton pieces for restoration or get them personalised through an exclusive hot-stamping service only available at the hotel.
From sipping champagne at the subterranean Bar Noé (originally designed in 1932 to carry five bottles) to grabbing a coffee at the Art Deco-inspired Café Alma, every corner has been thought through with that signature obsession for detail. And yes, there’s even a golden vault dedicated to Pharrell Williams’ Speedy P9 rework, because why not go all the way.
The Louis Vuitton Hotel London is open at 28 Berkeley Square until June 21. Monday to Saturday 11:00–19:00 and Sundays 12:00–18:00.
