Les Benjamins is advancing by leaps and bounds. Having opened their new flagship store in Istanbul (Turkey) just a month ago, and after launching their debut fragrance line, – encompassing a retail-space and lifestyle brand for men and women – founded in 2011 by Bünyamin Aydin now launches its Resort 2022 collection drawing inspiration from the notion of the Electric Desert. These are appealing pieces adapted to newer times in which design, trends and functionality go hand in hand, and where we find a large dose of colour perfect for summer full of bikinis, tops, dresses, short-sleeved shirts or swim shorts, among other garments.
Psychedelic prints become one of the main protagonists of the Resort 2022 collection by Les Benjamins, derived from the shadow of cacti and desert terrains, each subverted into deeply saturated hues and vivid colours. Representing a contemporary vision and offering us spectacular garments with which to fully enjoy the summer and the beach, womenswear sees the return of some familiar cut-away styles with asymmetric straps and ruched detailing on mini dresses. But what about menswear? It takes on punchy summer jewel tones with the all-over plant print carried over onto board shorts, cargo pants, and short-sleeved shirts.
Les Benjamins is not afraid of mixing daring colours, and its creations are designed to express ourselves through fashion and show who we are without prejudice, championing the identity of each one and the most absolute freedom. From the bikinis in different bright and fluorescent colors to flared pants, which are complemented by noughties-inspired crop tops in neutral tones. Or the brand's much-loved bucket hats, which return in shades of tangerine, plant print, and a softer beach-inspired sand-colored hue.
