As Paris gets ready to welcome womenswear fashion week in less than three weeks, it feels like all movements are done behind closed doors. But not everyone is staying silent before the massive shows. Loewe has just announced actress Isla Johnston as their new Brand Ambassador, the first to join the House under creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. So, as they say in Spanish, bienvenida a la familia.
You may have seen her in Netflix’s hit TV show The Queen’s Gambit, as well as other roles in series and films including Invasion or Life After Life. Now, Isla is ready to step into the fashion industry and fulfil new fantasies. “Becoming a Loewe Brand Ambassador means stepping into the world of fashion with a House full of people I adore!” she says. “It’s a real honour to witness Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez bringing their visions to life, and to be invited into that journey is incredibly special.”
