HOP ON ME

If a movie were made of your life, who would you want to play you in it, and who would you want to do the soundtrack for it?
I guess it would be Michael J. Fox, who played Marty McFly in Back to the Future. He just looks too cool in that movie! And soundtrack by The Strokes, Tame Impala, and Suicide!
What’s the first record you remember buying?
I think it was Mc Solaar's Paradisiaque. He is a French rapper from the ‘90s. Or maybe Eminem's The Eminem Show, I really listened to this album a lot when I was a teenager. First track, White America, I still love it so much!
What makes you dance?
A little drink, and then you either play Beyonce's Drunk In Love, or Amanda Lear's Follow Me, and I'm on the dance floor. I just discovered Follow Me pretty recently, and it's the latest big crush I’ve had for a song. It's so special, and so perfect to dance to!
A song to stroll or to sing along.
The Strokes’ The Modern Age, to sing and stroll! Or Sweet Jane by Lou Reed, goes so well with walking rhythm.
The first song you heard on 2016.
(Laughs). Magic In The Air, by Magic System. Not my favourite one. If I could choose another one it would be Be Above It by Tame Impala – so good to start the year with good resolutions.

KASSETT

If a movie were made of your life, who would you want to play you in it, and who would you want to do the soundtrack for it?
Paul Walker. The soundtrack should be by Jimmy Calais, a local hero. He should really get a movie made about his life.
What’s the first record you remember buying?
A CD by Blink 182, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket . I still know all the songs by heart and it does strange things to me, to my heart. It goes really deep. I secretly used my mother’s discman and went skateboarding with that album. I accidentally broke the discman in the middle of Stay Together For The Kids.
What makes you dance?
Snitch by Thast, and strong alcohol.
A song to stroll or to sing along.
Geen Wonder Dat Ik Ween by Paul Severs.
The first song you heard in 2016.
Not sure… It might be one of those Ssaliva tracks that appear and disappear from his Soundcloud page. All pure magic.

MOBILEGIRL

If a movie were made of your life, who would you want to play you in it, and who would you want to do the soundtrack for it?
I would want to be played by my favorite Asian actress: Scarlett Johansson. Music should be by Mechatok, Why Be, Niclas and Ausschuss.
What’s the first record you remember buying?
Either the I’m Outta Love or One Day In Your Life single by Anastacia (laughs.) I'm not sure anymore.
What makes you dance?
Literally every beat, but also silence.
A song to stroll or to sing along.
Strolling to T.a.T.u for 30 minutes.

PALMISTRY

If a movie were made of your life, who would you want to play you in it, and who would you want to do the soundtrack for it?
Ben Wishaw and Burna Boy on the soundtrack. Someone on a Ben Wishaw level, I think he’s one of my favourite actors. Had Burna Boy on repeat for a minute now. His track Rizzla and Soke would feature heavily.
What’s the first record you remember buying?
John Tavener’s Choral Works Volume 1Out of the Night. Even when I hate listening to music or any sounds I can always listen to choral music.
What makes you dance?
Hollup by Mr Eazi and produced by Juls. I always want to dance when they say, “It’s your boy Eaaaaazzzi,” and the beat when a xylophone kind of thing drops. One of my favourite tunes I’ve heard in a long time.
A song to stroll or to sing along.
I.M.Y (Miss You) by Kodak Black. Kodak Black hasn’t got a bad song. There are too many levels to this guy. I really hope he gets all the success he deserves in 2016 and beyond.
The first song you heard in 2016.
33333 by Mechatok (unreleased). I feel like my year only began when I heard this song. Mechatok is a next level producer based in Berlin. He’s keeping Europe glowing, excited for him to release his new music this year. It’s going to be a very important moment.
