Designers Dean and Dan Caten revisit the bold, glamorous aesthetic that first drew them to fashion for the Dsquared2 Spring/Summer 2026 collections. For both men and women, they are pushing the brand's signature "power clashing" to new heights. The Caten brothers pull inspiration from iconic 80s, 90s, and 2000s fashion editorials, blending archival nods with fresh, rule-bending details.
A common denominator in Dsquared2 collections is their ability to bring fresh ideas to the table, from playful design to sensual and loud. For this season, it's all about power shoulders, vibrant animal prints, and voluminous shapes that demand attention. Both lines play with unexpected juxtapositions: the men's collection features delicate lace shirts popping against sharp suiting, while the women's line rethinks distressed denim with elastic waistbands and showcases fully beaded skirts that create dramatic movement. Accessories are also key, with chunky jewellery, built-in backpack straps on tops, and new sneaker styles all designed to amplify the bold aesthetic.
In a clever nod to their own history, Dsquared2 reinvents their familiar "ICON" motif as "ICONique," featuring collectible pieces that celebrate beloved designs from their archives. A new logo also makes its debut, appearing on essential wardrobe staples like sweatshirts and t-shirts.
