The Dior family is expanding at an unstoppable pace. Just a few days ago, the Maison made headlines by welcoming Josh O’Connor as a new ambassador, and the momentum hasn’t slowed down since. There is already a new face ready to join that prestigious pantheon, bringing a fresh wave of talent and magnetism to the brand. The anticipation has been building, and today, the latest addition to this exclusive circle has finally been revealed.
Enter Drew Starkey. The American actor, widely recognized for his breakout role in Netflix’s Outer Banks and his work in Luca Guadagnino’s Queer, based on William S. Burroughs’ novel, has officially joined the House. According to the press release, Starkey stands out “for his risk-taking, charisma and integrity, echoing the values of the house of Dior and its creative director, Jonathan Anderson.” With this announcement, all eyes are now turned toward Paris; we expect to see him at the upcoming show this February and, perhaps, fronting a future campaign. While that remains just (hopeful) speculation for now, one thing is certain: welcome home, Drew.
