The time of year when Chanel and snow make perfect sense is finally here. With Coco Neige, the Maison has long made the ski slopes its own playground, bringing its unmistakable codes to the world of winter sports. For 2026, the campaign strikes that perfect balance between retro and contemporary, creating a world you can’t help but want to be part of. And now I want to be a Chanel skier, too. Then again, who wouldn’t?
Suddenly, I’m feeling the cold — and desperately need one of those jackets! With this campaign, Chanel proves that elegance knows no limits, not even on the ski slopes. Blending sporty flair with alpine sophistication, the collection reimagines mountain dressing through functional yet refined silhouettes. Technical details meet timeless style, creating versatile pieces that transition effortlessly from snowy slopes to cosy chalet dinners.
In the campaign captured by photographer Julien Martinez Leclerc, white is more than just the colour of the snow-covered landscape. Its seemingly endless expanse, softened by the texture of the snow, becomes an essential part of the campaign’s visual language. It’s the blank canvas on which everything else comes to life, almost a character in its own right. Against this all-white backdrop, every other shade stands out, bringing an unexpected pop of colour to the slopes. Since visibility matters just as much as style, colour has both a practical and graphic role here.
Red takes centre stage throughout the collection, alongside bold two-tone stripes and colourful checked tweeds, while Chanel’s classic palette of black, white and beige is brightened with vivid pops of blue, red and yellow. Every detail feels considered for its snowy setting, from a penguin-shaped bag and a coat that mimics a penguin’s body to cold-weather accessories, polar bear earrings and Chanel skis. Even the brighter colours feel right at home on the slopes, adding visibility as well as a playful contrast against the white landscape. Together, these unexpected details give both the collection and the campaign a fun, more laid-back spirit, proving that alpine dressing doesn’t always have to take itself too seriously.
Designed to move effortlessly between the slopes and everyday life, the collection brings together technical ski suits and jackets with a relaxed, slightly boyish attitude. Denim pockets, casually slung bags and easy silhouettes lend the looks a sense of nonchalance, while lined mules inspired by men’s loafers, cosy mittens and chapkas add both character and practicality. Rich textures, from jersey and cashmere to wool and fleece-lined fabrics, are layered to keep the cold at bay without compromising on style. The campaign features models Elodie Guipaud, Feng Jiao Long and Lia Marie Mielke, embracing the spirit of snowy days, Chanel-style. The result is a wardrobe that balances freedom of movement with the sophistication that defines the House.
