Conceived with travel and movement in mind, the model feels like a fresh direction. At the centre of the design sits a rotating bezel engraved with a compass rose, a small but distinctive detail that hints at navigation and the idea of finding your way.
The watch combines a couple of features that naturally fit that spirit of travel. A rotating GMT bezel works alongside a 24-hour hand, making it easy to keep track of more than one time zone, while the compass-style bezel nods to traditional navigation tools. At the same time, Certina continues to focus on the durability that has defined the brand for decades. The DS-X GMT includes an updated version of its DS protection system, designed to better withstand shocks, along with technology that helps the movement remain stable even when conditions are less predictable.
Overall, the watch keeps things relatively simple and functional. The stainless steel case is designed to handle everyday wear as well as more active environments, while luminous hands and markers ensure the dial remains readable when light begins to fade. The collection appears in five colour variations, ranging from white or grey dials to accents in green, red or blue.
