June has already started, good weather is arriving and festivals are beginning their countdown. Summer brings us many good things, and live music is undoubtedly one of them. The time has come to plan vacations, write on our WhatsApp friends' groups and begin to define where we are going together in the next months. Or alone, all the options are great and there is time for everything. But either way, Cala Mijas is one of the best options to say goodbye to August and welcome September 2023. 60 artists and 3 days will be the peak of a memorable summer. Where? In Malaga (Spain). When? From August 31 to September 2.
Arcade Fire, The Strokes and Florence + The Machine are some of the headliners of this fantastic festival located in the sunny hills of the region of Mijas, a Mediterranean oasis located on the coast of Malaga, Spain. Having celebrated its first edition in 2022 and consolidating its commitment with a mix of the best music and an unbeatable place filled with sunsets, sandy beaches and sundowners with friends, Cala Mijas is back this summer with even more force, unveiling a lineup in which we find names like Moderat, Arca, The Blaze or Foals. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
Many great international artists will be taking the stage at Cala Mijas 2023, whose tickets for both the full festival and one day can already be purchased on their website. But there is also room for the most exciting local artists on the music scene, including Amaia, Lori Meyers, Cariño, Juicy Bae, La Plazuela or the fantastic Judeline. Also joining the party is the Brazilian drag queen Pabllo Vittar and her message of sexual liberation, who will star in one of the most iconic moments of this edition.
