Being one of the most important international events in the creative industry for more than 15 years, BLEND festival is now getting ready for a new edition held between Breda and Amsterdam. From November 2 to 4, the meeting between artists, designers and filmmakers who push the boundaries of their discipline and cut across genres will once again generate interesting debates on relevant current issues, presenting us with the latest works by some of the most outstanding artists in the field of the post-digital image who will take the stage, and sharing with us the opinion of different experts through panels and presentations. If there is something that defines BLEND festival, it is its commitment to thinking beyond the boundaries, searching for new formulas and ways of thinking yet to be explored. Being at the forefront of the artistic field, this platform offers a unique program in the Netherlands where creative makers from all disciplines can meet, inspire and push each other. This link between different disciplines is more important than ever, in an interconnected society that requires the consolidation of alliances and synergies to make the world a better place.
From the multidisciplinary studio Le Cube, which implements the latest technologies in their work hand in hand with brands like Nike, Uber or Spotify, to the multi-disciplinary creator Lorenzo Fonda, known for his unconventional way of storytelling. There are many and varied profiles that we will meet from November 2 to 4 at the festival, which will take place in Breda on the first day before giving way to Amsterdam. The Zeitguised Studio will be back on the stage again after an amazing fantastic talk in 2014, and talents like Ngadi Smart, an illustrator and photographer who documents black identity from an African perspective, will not miss this edition of the festival either.
The artist talks and interviews will be a constant from the first to the last day, which will also be joined by Ari Weinkle, who works for Nowness or Apple and will be speaking in the Netherlands for the first time; or Fons Schiedon, who has created video content for Beyoncé's Formation World Tour and collaborated with FKA Twigs on her live experience, among many other achievements. Are you ready to meet some of the pioneers in visual culture in person? You can find all the information about BLEND Breda here, and get to know everything about BLEND Amsterdam here.
