Balenciaga has dropped its Winter 25 Campaign — and it’s everything you’d expect from the House that thrives on contrast and subversion. Shot by legendary photographer Juergen Teller and co-directed by his wife and creative partner, Dovile, the campaign reimagines Teller’s series The Clients through a modern, Balenciaga lens.
Set inside a grand, slightly faded hotel in Biarritz, the photos and videos feature an all-star cast: Nicole Kidman, Isabelle Huppert, Claudia Schiffer, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Arthur Chen, Liu Wen, Adut Akech, and Roxane. Dressed in looks from the Winter 25 Collection, including pieces from the Puma collab, they strike poses that feel more personal than polished, and the setting’s ornate interiors only highlight the quirky elegance of the clothes.
Teller’s raw, straightforward photography style adds tension and energy to the campaign. In an accompanying video, he reflects on his process, sharing thoughts on why imperfection is often more powerful than perfection.
Accessories get their own spotlight, too. The campaign includes close-up shots of key pieces like the waxed-suede Rodeo and Le City Bags, a sesame-toned Carrie Carry-All, and the pink croc-embossed Rodeo. Footwear highlights include the Shibuya Pump (part heel, part sneaker), the Hamptons Sneaker, and the sleek new Bel Air Flat Ballerina.
Balenciaga’s Winter 25 isn’t just about fashion; it’s about personality, presence, and the strange beauty of being caught somewhere between the staged and the real.
