2023 continues to bring us interesting collaborations between artists in the musical field, betting on a format that continues to gain followers and enriches the music scene, making it much more stimulating. Today we're talking about the release of the latest Grammy-nominated ZHU, who teams up with Devault and BabyJake on the silken, slow-burning new single Revelations. Being released by Astralwerks, this is ZHU's first release since last summer's Musical Chairs Mixtape (Vol. 1), which included the fan favourite I Wonder.
“I'm excited to get into this new era of my artistry and start releasing music again. There will be many revelations to come,” says the artist about the beginning of this new era that he’s opening by collaborating with the 25-year-old American electronic musician Devault and BabyJake, who is bringing the glamour of the '70s to modern day combining the latest production knowledge with an undeniably retro feel. Since the release of his debut album GENERATIONWHY, which topped Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart and landed on the Billboard 200, ZHU has not stopped carving out a well-deserved place on the international music scene where he is now making a strong comeback proving he still has a lot to say.

On this new single, BabyJake and ZHU each take a turn on vocals, contemplating what has brought them to this point in their journeys. But that’s not all. Revelations comes along with a music video directed by NAVS which opens in a hallway where a high-fashion clientele awaits entry into a confessional booth. There will be a second chapter of this collaboration? What will be the next step for ZHU? What we can confirm so far is that he will be playing numerous festivals this summer, including Lightning in a Bottle and Bumbershoot.
