Are you ready to let yourself be carried away on an intergalactic journey? We delve into musical experimentation with bass and saxophone producer SoDown on his new three-track EP Get Up, out via his own GetDown Records. But besides the 9 minutes that will not leave you indifferent and that you can already listen to on digital platforms, the artist will showcase his new release at Red Rocks on Friday, April 8, as support of Boogie T On The Rocks. Don't miss out!
Let's start with the EP's title track, Get Up, which is a reggae-fueled bass anthem produced alongside Canadian genre-bending beatmaker Defunk. This song is a dose of energy that makes you get out of your chair quickly, inviting you to move like there is no tomorrow. The sound slides back and forth, up and down, underscored by SoDown's flourishing saxophone sounds. We continue with Badboi Sound, where the synths allow us to see another facet of SoDow without giving up his personal stamp. And the EP closes with Serious Dub, a dance-floor igniting cut that pushes bass-music boundaries with its infectious saxophone riffs.

And pay attention to the dates of his tour, which starts on April 8 as we anticipated before but will continue until July 2022. From Chicago to Orlando or the Loving Life Festival in Los Angeles, there are many confirmed dates where you can enjoy these three new tracks (and many more) live. You can check all the information here. But for now, you can already enjoy the Get Up EP, to soak up the impressive energy it gives off.
