The campaign, named Back to Work: Office Rituals, is presented in two narratives but with the same premise. On one hand, through Alicia Padrón, we get to see a selection of pieces from the Fall/Winter collection – from Casablanca, for example – in an outlandish and chaotic editorial: models standing on office tables, playing with the copy machine or other office tools, or a girl opening a door with her feet. The editorial shows a new relationship between the models and distinct work tools, which in their eyes – that of primitive humans – are just strange elements. With a retro style, it captures Padrón’s characteristic experimental approach to styling.
On the other hand, we also get to see the new collections that are already available at Sivasdescalzo in an animation series made by the Montreal-based digital artist James Kerr, aka @scorpiondagger, known for his unique style of short animations, where he combines Renaissance imagery and comedic situations. The leading character is a Renaissance human that finds himself in an office workspace, which results in a series of chaotic but funny events. You can watch the different now on Sivasdescalzo’s official Instagram account.
Both artists explore the wild survival essence in a productive and functional space. Celebrating their creativity, Sivasdescalzo presents a special printed edition of a fanzine that contains both of their works. It’s available in their physical stores in Barcelona and Madrid, and on Issuu as an online version. Among the clothes featured in the campaign, we find new streetwear brands like Casablanca, Liam Hodges, Needles, Fumito Ganryu, Yah! or Roa, which Sivasdescalzo is incorporating this season. Of course, we can also keep enjoying the new collections of Boyhood, Billionaire Boys Club, Stüssy, Reese Cooper, Kapital, Fucking Awesome, Comme des Garçons Shirt, and many more.
