Are you trying to escape from your feelings and sensations because of the pandemic? Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada's first collection together is all about sensations rather than storyline in order to unfold the reading. An open one. They are kind of fashion-married, the first one is all about intellect, and Miuccia is all about emotion. Both of them look at each other, with eyes full of love. They launched a video of the show, followed by fashion students’ questions about it, in the same place where the collection was presented: a place all about tactility and contrasts created by Rem Koolhas and Amo, marble, and fur. Possible Feelings talks about the new possibilities of fashion in this new way of life, a place for change. And Miuccia and Raf were never afraid of change, they embrace it, is a reflection about how this shows works: a kind of virtual hug.
Miuccia Prada wanted to have a discussion so the show presented pinstripes, a print that she always hated before. She always wants to change her mind, and this is the time to do it, and to embrace one another, to feel one another, even if it's not in person. As Raf said, this is a dialogue about fashion concerning our society, and then Miuccia added that this is because fashion is about the life of people: the inside and the outside. They approached this collection having that in mind, with materials that lead to tactility, sensuality. An abstract place seen like an opposite of the technological kind of sensibility, a search for humanity.

With a revisitation of the long john, used below thensuit by men many decades ago, and giving importance to how the jacket’s collars look. They want to make the wearer feel different emotions but especially to feel, revealing the structure of the body too – as they did with the architectural space, playing with the notion of what's private and public: interior and exterior spaces, and bodies; a discussion. To feel emotionally and physically, maybe this is the new uniform for them as Raf thinks that Possible Feelings is, in a way, completely disconnected from a uniform, almost completely the opposite. Blazers with the sleeves rolled up are also present, maybe as a nod of our current struggle to have our life together. Which is why this creative duo, a breath of fresh air in difficult times, is almost giving us time to catch our breath.
