“We got to a point where we thought we'd finished the album and had a listening party with our label, publisher and management, and while we loved it, we all thought it could use some straight-up and down classic rock songs,” explains the band when they are asked about the process until they find this single that is now released, Spin Me Like Your Records. “So, we wrote our last single, Leaving For London, another album track, Modern Lovers and finally this single, and I don't think the album would be the same without them. It's just another silly song about being hopelessly into someone."
Having sold out multiple shows across their last four headline tours, including Eora/Sydney's Factory Theater and Oxford Art Factory, Dharawal/Wollongong's Uni Bar, Naarm/Melbourne's Northcote Social Club, Meanjin/Brisbane's The Brightside and The West Room, and Cavanbah /Byron Bay's The Northern Hotel, the band with more than 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify which takes cues from influences rooted in classic rock and roll such as Rolling Stones and The Beatles continue to consolidate the project they started in 2017.
