Ottolinger, the Berlin-based fashion label known for its deconstructive yet sensuous designs, has recently partnered with Puma for a collaboration that promises to be daring and adventurous. The pragmatic brand, led by Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient, showcased its Fall/Winter 2023 collection featuring shredded dresses, skiwear, puffers and fresh renditions of fan-favourite ceramic bags.
However, the highlight of the show was none other than the unveiling of the first of a planned two collaborations with German sportswear multinational Puma. The collection is a fusion of Ottolinger's distinctive style and Puma's innovative athletic wear, and the result is a unique blend of avant-garde fashion and high-performance sportswear. The joint effort showcased a range of footwear and bags that embody both the sensibilities of Ottolinger's avant-garde design and Puma's innovative athletic-wear.

The sport-ready crossbody bags featured Ottolinger's branding on the front and Puma's logo on the sides. The accessories are available in two colour iterations, yellow and black and black and red, respectively. The footwear collection is equally exciting, ranging from leather high-tops to gilded knee-high boots, finished with spiked soles and wrapped in straps. The design structure of the boots mirrors the build of traditional motorcycle boots, while the bags’ bold colour blocking reminds us of classic racing suit designs.

The Ottolinger x Puma collaboration is a part of PUMA's efforts to make 2023 its year by partnering with prominent fashion labels like LaQuan Smith and Dapper Dan, as well as bringing Rihanna back on the team. The collaboration promises to appeal to fashion-forward and sport enthusiasts alike, and we can't wait to see the full collection soon.
