There are winning combinations between artists and Olamide and Asake's has turned out to be one of them. Barely a week on from their viral hit collaboration Amapiano, which has already amassed over twenty million global streams, the African music icon and the Nigerian pop star are back together again, with another banger titled New Religion. This new single comes along with a music video full of energy, strength and good vibes, and the visual piece has surpassed two and a half million streams in just five days.
Both are two music giants who have shown to know how to connect effectively with their audiences. Their impressive numbers of streams and followers speak for themselves, and also by joining forces with each other they’re offering a formula that leaves no one indifferent having proved to be a resounding success. The video for No Religion, their last single together, is the latest from the new Olamide album Unruly which arrives in July, while Asake will be dropping his sophomore album Work Of Art later this month.

“I don't know how I survive this tour life,” they sing on their new release, No Religion, with which they show to be very comfortable collaborating and having found a winning combination that consolidates on the music scene as each one keeps working on their respective musical projects. If we analyze the current music scene we see how the trend is going towards the rise of collaboration, the search for new sounds that arise from dialogues between artists, and this latest release is a perfect example of this format that offers so many possibilities.
