As announced earlier in February and finally presented today, Virgil Abloh has collaborated with Japanese designer Nigo, founder of iconic streetwear brand Bape, current creative director of Uniqlo UT, and founder of yet another brand, Human Made. The result? The LV2 collection, where the two fashion moguls reinterpret the signature symbols of the French Maison. Featuring garments – denim and bomber jackets, suits, shirts, trousers, etc. –, accessories like shoes, bags and hats, and also leather goods like belts, their collaborative collection for Louis Vuitton will be available in September.
