Fei Fei Sun stars in the new Publication #26 by Loewe. For the Fall/Winter 2019 collection, the Spanish house has trusted once again in the Japanese photographer Fumiko Imano, who has already shot previous campaigns and Publications – such as number 23, starring Amber Valletta. With the Paris’ Maison de l’Unesco as the backdrop, the Chinese model elegantly shows the new pieces of the upcoming season.
It was in 2014 when Loewe’s Creative Director, Jonathan Anderson, decided to show every collection in a numbered limited-edition publication art directed by M/M. The current one, featuring the pieces of the upcoming Fall/Winter 2019 collection, stars Chinese model Fei Fei Sun and the ‘Imano twins’ – the real photographer and an imaginary sister she created to face solitude when moving to Japan after living in Brasil, London and Paris. The three ‘models’ gracefully sport the rich textures – wool, lace, leather, feathers, – and exciting silhouettes while being in a perfectly coordinated visual conjunction with several flower arranges, made by the house’s florist, Amy Humphrey – which, at the same time, reminds of Japense tradition Ikebana.
