Paintings, large-scale sculptures, murals, street art and even product design; there’s almost nothing KAWS can’t do artistically speaking. The Brooklyn-based icon has been working for the past two decades, and his bold statements and use of colour have turned his artworks into some of the most valued possessions any art collector could lay his hands on. But for those with much lower budgets, having the opportunity to enjoy his pieces first-hand is always great. So if you’re around the two megalopolis, don’t miss the solo shows at Perrotin, ending on May 12 in Tokyo and on May 19 in Hong Kong.
