One of the most powerful art galleries in the world, Perrotin, is going to exhibit simultaneously the work of KAWS at his venues in Hong Kong and Tokyo. The acclaimed American artist fortified his career in the Japanese capital and was the first one to show at the gallery’s space in China. Inaugurating on March 22 in Tokyo and on March 26 in Hong Kong, both solo shows promise to be a huge success due to his fame as well as Perrotin’s talent to scout the best talents worldwide.
Paintings, large-scale sculptures, murals, street art and even product design; there’s almost nothing KAWS can’t do artistically speaking. The Brooklyn-based icon has been working for the past two decades, and his bold statements and use of colour have turned his artworks into some of the most valued possessions any art collector could lay his hands on. But for those with much lower budgets, having the opportunity to enjoy his pieces first-hand is always great. So if you’re around the two megalopolis, don’t miss the solo shows at Perrotin, ending on May 12 in Tokyo and on May 19 in Hong Kong.
KAWS’ exhibition in Tokyo will inaugurate on March 22 and will be on view until May 12 at Galerie Perrotin, 1F, 6-6-9 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

KAWS’ exhibition in Hong Kong will inaugurate on March 26 and will be on view until May 19 at Galerie Perrotin, Hong Kong, Central, Connaught Rd Central, 50號.
