“I wrote drip based on one of my favourite Kehlani songs called Water. I brought the song to my producer, Kundo, and told him I wanted to make a song just like it,” izye tells us when we ask her about the starting point of her new reléase. The single comes along with a music video directed by Brandon Esparza, in which choreographer Devin Hicks and dancers Devin Hicks and Catherine Liepins have also taken part in. The young artist was clear about what she wanted, and she achieved the result in just a few hours. “We made the entire beat and the song in 2 hours.”

 

This new single is about being so infatuated with someone physically and not being able to get enough of them, explains the singer now based in Los Angeles. We will have to wait to see how izye's musical career evolves, but what is certain is that she is determined to give her best and she is clear that music is her great passion.
