Few days ago Candy magazine posted a new video with an upcoming young star – German Lavrovskiy. We decided to know everything about him. German lives in Moscow, so it was easy to meet up.
The story of a Russian teenager German Lavrovskiy proves the fact that all dreams can come true. German was only 16 years old when Nicola Formichetti offered him to create a limited collection of t-shirts. Before this, German was the most famous collage-artist in Moscow, he worked with different fashion archetypes and reflected in his works the very discussed fashion trends.
"One day I sent Nicola some of my collages, of course, I wasn't sure about his answer, I just wanted to try", says German. Nicola answered in few days and together they did a collection of five t-shirts with German’s prints, which was sold at Nicola’s Pop-Up Store in NYC. “It was unforgettable! The greatest experience I ever had”.
It pushed German to do a new collection by his own, thus he did twelve different shirts with unusual prints, some of them you can see below. Now German is 17 years old, he's dreaming about Paris, new projects and about his next collection. We’r sure he has a great future.
