FaltyDL has been working on his album A Nurse To My Patience since 2017. Now, 5 years later and having been his antidote to a long and waning pandemic, the prolific New England native aka Drew Lustman is getting ready to finally release it on November 11. But meanwhile, today he’s sharing one of the most brilliant tracks included in this new work, One Way Or Another featuring Mykki Blanco. A fantastic alliance in which both creatives join forces achieving an exceptional result which is the ribbon on his album, the tempo to his patience, as FaltyDL openly says.
“One Way Or Another, Mykki could be my brother. Our ongoing collaboration has been the most freeing musical experience of my life, and at this stage, we can anticipate each other's moves and ideas. I feel so strong with their presence in my life, and I owe a lot of this phase of my career to them and their belief in me,” adds Drew Lustman aka FaltyDL about this new release that is out today. This is a sneak peek of the album that he will present in just one week, A Nurse to My Patience, which is momentous to him on a personal level. “I am singing, playing instruments, and collaborating with legends and heroes of mine.”
Written in between stints of intense writing with Mykki Blanco, it will be the first time he has penned lyrics and sung on a record. Far from being just one more release, this new album marks the biggest departure yet and promises to bring us a little closer to the essence of his musical and creative vision.
