Fresh perspectives and timeless silhouettes. Their latest collaboration is no exception. Dr. Martens kicks off the new year celebrating film and craftsmanship alongside Japanese fashion imprint Undercover. The collaborative duo has unveiled a three-piece reiteration of the Original 1461 3-eye shoe available tomorrow in three different colourways – black, cherry red and blue – each printed with Undercover’s distinct and recognisable grid check pattern and embossed with “We make noise not clothes,” the Japanese label's signature sign-off.

Sharing a mutual punk aesthetic and rebellious attitude, the Japanese designer’s countercultural influences and underground aesthetics fit seamlessly into Dr. Martens' world. Crowned as one of the English shoemaker’s longest-running design partners, Jun Takahashi has reworked the English shoemaker’s designs for almost a decade – this time, both houses have partnered up to celebrate Takahashi’s love of 70s cinema.
