Conceived as a dialogue between both fashion houses, Dior Men and Sacai join forces to create a men's capsule collection, which will be available from November 2021. In it, they are creating a conversation between both designers – British creative Kim Jones and Japanese talent Chitose Abe –, heritages and cultures, as well as merging aesthetics and spirits.
There is a hybrid nature, through unmistakable tailoring and savoir-faire, which Dior is world-renowned for, and sportswear, as well as utilitarian and workwear elements which Sacai brings to the collection. From the Tailleur Oblique overcoats' silhouettes, floral decorations and Japanese denim and new fabrics and techniques, these brands respectively bring out in each other new combinations that were most likely not possible before this new synergy.

The new variation on the iconic Dior logotype is an example of this, as within the ‘i’ of Dior can be found Sacai's name, and it is like this that both creatives re-examine their pasts to construct a new future. In this way they rework at the same time that they embrace their histories and past designs, creating a true blend as well as a real exchange of ideas, a new viewpoint for both brands, however, framed through Dior's heritage. A perfect intermingling of two of the most powerful fashion houses out there.
