Flowers have been an incredibly rich source of inspiration at Maison Dior since the beginning. Christian Dior was fascinated by them – his gardens full of blooming roses are famous worldwide, and so are his flower-inspired perfumes and signature motifs, – and his successors have also succumbed to the beauty and allure of the botanical world. Maria Grazia Chiuri is no stranger to working with flowers as she already showed in her Spring/Summer 2020 collection, when she worked with  Marc Jeanson, the botanist and Director of the Grand Herbier at the Museum of Natural History.

For the Fall 2020 season, she’s created a special capsule collection named Rosa Mutabilis, inspired by the homonymous flower, a special rose whose colour changes over the course of its blooming. Translating the flower’s beauty into intricate, handcrafted embroideries, Dior features the delicate motif on must-have accessories, such as the Dior Book Tote bag, the Mitzah scarf, as well as on a selection of shoes – Walk’n’Dior sneakers, J’Adior pumps, Granville espadrilles and Dway mules. You can find the collection on Dior’s website, don’t miss it!
