“This campaign captures the idea of Miami and the modern vision of Dior enhanced by Shawn Stussy’s graphic identity,” affirms Dior Men’s creative director Kim Jones. Shot by long-time collaborator Steven Meisel, the Fall 2020 campaign’s black-and-white psychedelic set resembles that of the runway that took place in Miami last December, just in time for the start of the city’s Art Week. Featuring original sketches by artist and designer Shawn Stussy, a key figure of the ‘80s surf scene, both the backdrop and some pieces of the collection convey the sun-drenched spirit and vibe of the American city, known for its vivid sunsets, laid-back lifestyle, tall palm trees and endless beaches.
