Christian Dior was the owner of an art gallery before turning to fashion and becoming one of the most renowned couturiers in the world. Paying homage to this fine arts background, Dior Men Artistic Director Kim Jones has invited American artist Daniel Arsham to create a series of objets d’art called the Future Relics collection, in which he extends the scenography he created for the Spring/Summer 2020 runway show and turns a few pieces, like his signature basketball or Monsieur Dior’s 1951 book Je Suis Couturier or his telephone and clock, into collectable art pieces that art lovers and Dior fans can buy in selected stores of the French house.
