Since the arrival of Glenn Martens at Diesel, the firm has reinvented itself and has taken freedom of expression as its motto, promoting the free exploration of personality, sexuality, and identity in each of its collections. The latest campaign for Spring/Summer 2023 is this philosophy in graphic language, with photographs that invite us to let ourselves be carried away by desire and impulses and ask ourselves: What's your pleasure?
The last Diesel show is on our minds not only for the interesting and daring looks but also for the monumental mountain of condoms that served as a backdrop on the catwalk. But before this collection, there was Spring/Summer 2023 – yes, the one with the buttplugs as an invitation letter. The campaign for this collection has arrived and it’s called Pleasure Island, and how could it not be? It extends this discourse of sexual freedom, in which all kinds of desires and curiosities are permitted and any criticism or judgement is strictly forbidden.

Set up as an amusement park for adults, as envisioned by Creative Director Glenn Martens, Art Director Christopher Simmonds, and Photographer Johnny Dufort, the photographs and video take us on a sensory journey in which we can identify the brand's already iconic pieces. Denim everywhere, logos in their maxi version, and the now easily recognisable accessories such as sunglasses, boots, and bags stand out amongst the chaos of the party. A party with which Diesel celebrates not only their new and free identity but also the success they are having with it.
