Neither fashion nor music. Gone are all those limiting terms, the specific words used to designate concrete creative disciplines. Now what we need is a firm commitment to synergies and collaborations, joining of forces searching answers never seen before. In pursuit of this goal and seeking to shine a light on issues that really matter, Calvin Klein collaborates with music journal Wax Poetics to celebrate the next generation of journalists who are shaping the contemporary music landscape through their own distinct perspectives.
By providing them with various resources with which they could explore and research their favourite musical themes, all of them really interesting, the fashion lifestyle brand once again bets on young talents with this action. Its protagonists? Four promising musical writers: Amelia Fearon, Vuyokazi Mtukela, Maeve Hannigan and Violeta Arango. Four young talents selected from more than one hundred applicants whose potential, enthusiasm and desire to continue investigating and discovering the music scene convinced Calvin Klein. The brand has offered them educational resources, expert mentorship and paid commissions to develop their unique stories, which are already available on the brand's website and the Wax Poetics website.

“Since our relaunch, we have set out to give as much support to younger writers and content creators as we can. Calvin Klein has been an amazing partner in helping bring this to life,” said Brian DiGenti, Editor-in-Chief of Wax Poetics. And it is that the fantastic selection of the talents who have put words to some stories that deserved to be told showed that the young generations have much to say. And if we want their voice to be heard, the drive and support of brands like Calvin Klein are essential. We strongly recommend you immerse yourselves in the resulting stories if you want to know more about the contemporary music scene.
