This one is for the anime lovers and enthusiasts, after their last capsule collection with Naruto, Bershka has been inspired once again another popular Japanese show, in this case, Evangelion. It is a groovy collection that will give your wardrobe a nineties reboot. As the show’s followers will know, the hit series from 1995 is set in a post-disaster Earth and stars giant robots that can only be piloted by chosen kids. Fans will be pumped to see Shinji, Asuka, Ren, and some of the Evangelion units appear in cropped sweats, sleeveless hoodies and oversized tees.
And for the ones who don’t know about the show, I’ll walk you through it. Evangelion is a classic when we talk about nineties anime, it is probably one of the most memorable ones because of its multilayered approach and representation of the Apocalypse. Bershka is now paying tribute to its story with a colourful collection where the sets are key with matching shirt-short combos to step up your street-cred this summer.
