Relationships evolve as a result of the growth of the agents involved, the lessons learned from some episodes in life, and the search for new experiences with which to continue exploring and discovering oneself. A good example of this synergy in continuous movement is the one starring Loreak Mendian and the cult Parisian library Ofr., proving to reinvent themselves but maintaining the essence. Their relationship started many years ago among books and stands at a Parisian fair where the fashion brand presented one of its first collections, and now they’re launching a capsule collection co-designed and inspired by the worker style. Keep reading!

Loreak Mendian, a brand founded in Donostia (Spain) more than twenty-five years ago, has been able to expand its global vision by adapting to changes and not giving up its identity built on honest fashion and a natural way of being. And, of course, being committed to solid relationships. Valuing much fluid communication, joining forces with coherence and meaning, and preserving the sincerity with the client that has always defined the project, now it decides to go a step further in its relationship with one of its most faithful allies, the Parisian bookshop, gallery studio, publisher and filmmaker 0fr.

Since Loreak Mendian installed a showroom in the back room of one of the library’s first establishments near Canal Saint Martin, in the Republique district, they have not stopped sharing experiences and creating exciting conversations. Connected to art and looking forward to making the world a better place, shaping projects that go beyond trends and connecting with the purest essence, Loreak Mendian and 0fr. have kept in touch to this day, and they have now decided to further consolidate their relationship by designing a capsule collection inspired by workwear, blurring the frontier between genders with a unisex cut.

The result of having shared the creative process is Un Été Sans Lunettes, a collection that bets on a balanced colour palette featuring cream, blue and orange shades to offer pieces of the highest quality for everyday wear. Made in organic cotton and adding a careful selection of accessories such as a cap and an oversized tote to the brand's classic sweatshirts, t-shirts to worker-style trousers, this collection is inspired by naturalness and relationships built on mutual love and honesty. It will be available for sale in 0fr. Paris and Seoul, online and offline at Loreak Mendian shops, and at selected clients such as Museo Gran Vía 15 in Madrid and 29cm in Korea.
