All of us, in one way or another, have connected with our inner self in the last 2 years. So much time locked up, deprived of our social relationships, and having to keep a safe distance has led to a connection with our fears and reflections unlike never before. Recorded during confinement, Jacob manuel took advantage of this period and the introspection he experienced to bring his debut EP, Mind Alters, to life which will be released soon. But what he is now unveiling is his new single, It will happen, along with a music video whose mantra speaks to the desired realities of what he dreams of in his home.
Different influences converge in his music style, giving shape to a profile that does not follow trends or immediate phenomena. From the psychedelia of the 70s to grunge or classic rock, the young artist recorded his newly released single in quarantine in New Jersey. “Nonsense your safe, nonsense your safe. Don’t let the world decide,” he intones in his latest release, in which he explores his mind through music trying to discover himself while connecting with his audience.

Between love, time and obsession, Jacob manuel's pieces are the results of his constant desire to create, unleash his creativity and configure a world where he can be himself. Alongside him sit strangled guitar chords, scribbled down lyrics, drawings of other planets, fantasies of other realities, and even dreams of meeting Kurt Cobain. The artist still has a long way to go, but he has already shown that he has the most important thing: an identity that does not depend on what his colleagues do.
