Just before Milan’s Fashion Week kick-start, the biannual HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition is making its comeback and setting the mood for the Spring/Summer 224 collections. Focused mainly on jewellery and fashion accessories, the fair will be held this weekend (September 15 to 18) at Fiera Milano (Rho), offering once again an insight into the upcoming trends. Spoiler alert: Get ready for a burst of colour.
Both national and international brands such as Ziio Jewels, Lavish, Amlé, Toni Barros or Ornella Bijoux (just to mention a few) will be fully showcasing their current F/W 2023 collections as well as offering insights and previews of their following ones. In order to make our lives easier, the enormous event has been rearranged into two pretty self-explanatory macro areas: on one hand, Jewels, and on the other hand, Fashion, and it will maintain its characteristic ready-to-wear approach.

But that’s not it. As in the previous edition, the exhibition collaborates again with Poli-Design University and offers a dedicated hub (also divided in two) for discovering future trends. First, we have Design Directions, an immersive multimedia tool that maps out the trends for jewellery and accessories in the next couple of years. Secondly, Visionaries, a space where designers display the most innovative proposals in terms of materials, shapes, styles and colours.

As the cherry on top, the event will be completed with dynamic talks, meetings, shows and masterclasses that will help professionals boost their businesses and get market insights, ideas and suggestions. For the second time this year (we went to its February edition too), we will be attending the event, so await our review coming out next week!
