From July 5 to 7, Awakenings Summer Festival will be back in the Netherlands with a multi-sensory musical experience. Last year, we attended the event and told you all about it here, and once again, it becomes a mandatory stop in the European festival circuit, with confirmed artists such as Honey Dijon, Ellen Allien, Amelie Lens, ANNA, Anfisa Letyago, Mochakk, Partiboi69, Nico Moreno and Fatima Hajji. The three-day festival grows popular every year. Of course, a lineup including some of the most interesting names in electronic music helps. This year’s edition has tapped the talent of Daria Kolosova, Cera Khin, Estella Boersma, Elli Acula and Blasha & Allat, Mha Iri, Giorgia Angiuli and Chloé Caillet, among many others. But also, the good weather and the immaculate vibes contribute to a unique experience.
The 2024 edition will see the return of Fatima Hajji to the Dutch festival, where she hasn’t played since 2009, and at the same time, Rødhåd will celebrate his 25th visit to Awakenings. These very special sets will take place in an edition defined by the female power behind the decks, with many names of internationally known women in the electronic music scene.
