Venno’s new single, Claridad, arrives with an ease that feels intentional. Following Si Se Fue, released in mid-November, the track doesn’t rush to make a statement; instead, it settles into its own pace. There’s a sense of continuity in the way the artist approaches emotion, but also a subtle shift toward something more exposed.
Musically, the song plays with contrast. The production leans warm and fluid, shaped by a spontaneous addition of salsa percussion that gives the track its distinctive movement. It feels light on the surface, almost comforting, yet it never fully lets you relax. That tension mirrors the story at the centre of the song, where brightness and heartbreak coexist without cancelling each other out.
“I made this beat a bit ago, but when we sat down in the studio with no plan, I added the salsa percussion, and it gave the track its uniqueness. Even though the beat feels bright and warm, the lyrics are the opposite, which gives it a cool contrast. The melody came instantly and makes the track feel nostalgic and sentimental,” he explains.
Instead of centering on a dramatic breakup, Claridad stays with a quieter kind of realisation. The song moves through unanswered calls, through attempts at distraction that never fully work, through the familiar wish of going back while knowing there is nothing there to return to. Venno keeps the writing straightforward and unembellished, letting the emotion sit naturally without pushing it to the front.
What gives the track its weight is the decision to keep moving forward. The rhythm never slows down to underline the sadness; it carries on, almost stubbornly. That choice turns the song into something closer to acceptance than despair. With Claridad, Venno continues to shape a space for emotional Latin music that feels personal and grounded, focusing on moments that are small, familiar, and quietly difficult to shake.
