A few months ago, we celebrated the return of Ukrainian Fashion Week, a clear example of resilience and creativity in the face of adversity and difficult times. Now, in its Fall/Winter 2025 edition, Ukrainian Fashion Week returns to Kiev from 14 to 17 February, driven by hope for the future. More than forty Ukrainian fashion brands, such as Frolov, Gasanova, J'amemme, Kseniaschnaider, Nadya Dzyak, and Tg Botanical, will present their collections through fashion shows, presentations, trade fairs, and digital showrooms in collaboration with the vlge.com platform. Opening will be in charge of Frolov, a brand founded in 2015 by Ivan Frolov, while Gasanova, by Elvira Gasanova, will close this edition.
“Our nation is full of talent, and for twenty-seven years, we have been working to ensure their voices are heard on the global stage. For us, fashion is not just about creativity; it has become a tool to protect our freedom, identity, and future,” said Iryna Danylevska, founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week. The main location returns to the historic Mystetski Arsenal and will see the launch of NewGen Lab, a platform designed to support emerging talent with debut fashion shows and educational sessions led by industry experts on key industry topics, as well as public relations, marketing, and sales.
Collaborative initiatives with leading companies will offer scholarships, prizes, and resources to emerging talent, cementing the industry's commitment to developing new creative voices. The Clothing with a Function program, designed to address critical social issues by creating adaptable clothing for people with specific needs, will also debut this season. This project underlines Ukrainian fashion's commitment to inclusion and innovation.
Another important initiative of this edition in collaboration with the Yanko Charity Foundation is Faces of Heroes, where designers will be able to contribute to the treatment and rehabilitation of people with facial injuries. A project that highlights the ability of fashion to have a positive impact on society. Intertop Ukraine, the country's largest fashion retailer, will launch The Culture of Design project in partnership with Ukraine Fashion Week, an initiative that will offer emerging talents the opportunity to create a collection that will be presented in leading retail shops.
In addition, the footwear brand Kachorovska will continue its support to young creatives through a scholarship to promote an emerging brand. Philips Steam&Go compact steamers, the official partner of Ukraine Fashion Week, will present a special prize to one of the participants of the New Names platform, encouraging innovation and potential in the industry.
The new edition of the Ukrainian Fashion Week is presented as a lighthouse of hope and creativity, where it will once again demonstrate how fashion can be a tool of resistance and expression, confirming that even in the most difficult and darkest of times, creativity and passion prevail.
