Renowned fashion photographer Tim Walker has brought his latest exhibition to life through a series of captivating photographs inspired by the works at London's Victoria and Albert Museum. Titled Tim Walker: The Wonderful Things, the exhibition showcases his vast collection over nine exceptional photoshoots. In 2016, the museum invited Walker for an assignment, which has now resulted in this mesmerising display. The exhibition is currently ongoing at the J. The Lil' Dragon section showcases intricately decorated snuffboxes. Another captivating section named Out of the Woods showcases vibrant snapshots that take inspiration from two of the Getty's prized paintings. These dynamic shots are set to be displayed alongside Walker's latest creations.
The exhibition has a free programme called Fashion Forward: The Fantastical Visions of Tim Walker in which Walker, the curator Susanna Brown, and the editor of W Magazine Sara Moonves will have a panel talk on May 21 about Rodney Smith's work, a contemporary fashion and portrait photographer. Also, Getty publication's Rodney Smith: A Leap of Faith will be released.
