Rising Czech artist Thera enters a new phase of her career with the release of a dance driven remix of rewind, expanding the emotional core of one of her most personal tracks while stepping into her largest live moment to date. The remix arrives as she prepares to support Jason Derulo on the European leg of his arena tour, placing her in front of some of the continent’s biggest stages.
Reworked by KNWLSY, the new version of rewind pushes the song into darker, club-ready territory without losing its emotional weight. Built around pulsing rhythms and shadowed textures, the remix amplifies the track’s sense of repetition and emotional tension, with Thera’s smoky vocals remaining at the centre. Sharing the release, she summed it up simply: “Found a way to make one of my dance tracks even more of a song to dance to, and I hope you all love it as much as I do.”
Originally released last summer, rewind explored the exhausting loop of a toxic relationship, capturing the push and pull between clarity and attachment. Speaking about the song’s origins, Thera described it as “the never-ending cycle of a toxic relationship, where you know it’s wrong, but you can’t stop loving that person,” a feeling she wanted to translate into movement and repetition.
Alongside the remix, Thera is set to join Jason Derulo as main support across a series of European arena dates, including stops in London, Amsterdam, and Prague. After a career-defining year on the road, including a sold-out tour supporting Loreen, the upcoming run marks a clear shift in scale. As she shared ahead of the tour, “I’ve dreamt of playing arenas since I was a little girl”, describing the experience as surreal and deeply emotional.
Despite being early in her career, Thera’s trajectory already reflects a clear artistic identity. With millions of streams across platforms, she has emerged as one of the Czech Republic’s most visible new voices internationally. Influenced by artists such as Madison Beer, SZA and Rihanna, her music remains rooted in emotional honesty, with songwriting framed as a form of release.
As rewind (KNWLSY Remix) signals a darker, more rhythmic direction, the arena tour represents a parallel expansion in setting, suggesting an artist increasingly comfortable evolving in sound and scale while staying close to the emotional core of her work.
