Men’s Spring/Summer 2027 fashion week has brought the heat. Among many, many other things, we’ve been seeing some striking collaborations, proving fashion is a melting pot of creative minds and that bringing them together can push boundaries. Especially in Paris, where designers like Rick Owens got back together with adidas after several years, or where Kiko Kostadinov re-designed a pair of sleek frames for Oakley, and where shoe brands like Asics, Birkenstock, Ugg, or Havaianas have teamed up with independent designers.
We break down some of the standout collaborations of the week, the ones we are desperate to get our hands on before they inevitably sell out. Footwear, clothing, sunglasses: there is something for every category and style. Collaborations are a way to combine distinct brand identities and find common ground, where both can intertwine and pave a new path.
Rick Owens x adidas
These two leading voices have joined forces after almost a decade for an avant-garde, futuristic take on sportswear. A high-performance running trainer will be released in 2027, affordable and reliable, alongside a slouched, cinched boot-style trainer; both feature the signature three white stripes. Inflated jackets and shorts were created using adidas’ Climacool technology, which features interior fans and an ice vest designed to cool athletes down before a race. Joggers, hoodies, shorts, t-shirts, and even floor-length capes are also part of their joint venture into eccentric reinterpretations.
This Rick Owens collection draws from the human psyche as it deals with crisis. Aptly named Stone, it refers to isolated components under compression within continuous tension. adidas blends into the fold through its commitment to improving performance through innovation and its promise to protect against the environmental threats we face.

Willy Chavarria x Ugg
Grit met with warmth. The unisex collection combines two brands that have defined culture and rely on authenticity to convey their identity. Iconic Ugg silhouettes take on a new, tougher look through Willy Chavarria’s classic leather texture, creating footwear that adds an edge. Speaking on the message of this partnership, Chavarria comments, “This is my love letter to the outlaw in you.”
Three iterations will be released: the calf-high Guard Boot, the slightly shorter Biker Boot and the Hotel Chavarria Slipper. Both brands view their creations as manifestations of human experience, identity and emotion that transcend the physical existence of the product. Together, they bring forward a shared responsibility to place consumer needs as the top priority.

Kiko Kostadinov x Oakley
Eyewear of the future. At Kiko Kostadinov’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, models walked down the runway wearing Oakley prototypes that left jaws dropping. Acting as integral elements of the collection, the glasses seamlessly blend with a proposal that drew inspiration from artist Agostino Bonalumi and architect Hans van der Laan. “This collaboration represents a natural collision between Oakley’s legacy of innovation and Kiko’s uncompromising design vision,” comments Oakley Global Product Director Alex Ellinport.
Reimagined Terrforma designs in seven iterations were introduced in various colourways, featuring Prizm lens technology, which creates layered visual perception through contrast and refraction, using the dynamic between solid and translucent materials through colour-blocking. Alongside these, a new prototype developed at Moonbase1, Oakley’s innovation laboratory, made its debut. Rendered in five colourways, the wrapped-style lenses include diamond-scribe detailing, pushing the boundaries of conventional eyewear.

sacai x Birkenstock
Chitose Abe’s distinctive concept of hybridisation is applied to Birkenstock’s most famous styles in this partnership, as archival silhouettes are reinterpreted with a new layered, contemporary sensibility. The brand’s first-ever sandal, the single-strap Madrid, merges with the double-strap, square-buckled Arizona sandal for the Aoyama 107, named after sacai’s Tokyo store in the Aoyama district. The Cassette 75 pairs the Arizona with the Boston clog, which celebrates fifty years in 2026, for a woven buckle style that pays homage to sacai’s Paris headquarters in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, on Rue Cassette. Lastly, a utility bag with an adjustable strap and square buckle, available in two sizes, completes the collection, focusing on the brands’ shared codes of functionality.
The shoes are made from natural and suede leathers and, of course, the cork-latex, leather-wrapped footbed Birkenstock is known for. The bag is crafted from the same materials and features the bone-patterned outsole along the bottom of the exterior. All pieces come in either black or taupe and retain the core focus on functionality and comfort. sacai shines through in its signature transformation of classics into unique silhouettes, while Birkenstock’s DNA is clearly translated.

P. Andrade x Havaianas
Havaianas is the latest brand to jump on the craze of split-toe shoes, partnering with P. Andrade for the label's debut show at Paris Men's Fashion Week. Both Brazilian brands have brought the fun to the French capital with a new model, the Top Cut, which looks into the future while also honouring their past — the first pair of Havaianas was inspired by Japanese zori sandals. “We firmly believe that design can be transformative without being flashy. That’s why we introduced a subtle change to the sandal’s anatomy, creating an opening inspired by tabi footwear. At the same time, we revisited the origins of Havaianas Tradi, whose design was originally inspired by Japanese zori sandals. It’s a playful yet sophisticated reference that pays homage to the product’s heritage,” says Pedro Andrade, founder and creative director of P. Andrade.

Junya Watanabe x Kappa x Kota Okuda
Aptly titled Bling Bling Bling, Junya Watanabe’s latest runway reminisces on 1980s New York hip-hop culture within the luxury fashion scene. Kappa Banda branding was displayed across blazers and trench coats, while classic tracksuits were deconstructed through layered fabrics and accessorised with a multitude of gold, silver and pearl chains.
Jewellery designer Kota Okuda took the lead on the viral, bedazzled baseball caps to round off the nostalgic, energetic collection. Fake cash, brooches, mini crowns, safety pins and an impressive array of meticulously placed chains covered classic caps, including Yankees and LA styles, for a uniquely fun design. Each brand instilled its own signature personality without outshining the others, resulting in a cohesive blend of personalities and an impressive show.

Soshiotsuki x Asics
First working together for the Fall/Winter 2026 season, Soshiotsuki once again partners with Asics to debut a new trainer on the runway. The Gel-Axis FF is available in perforated leather, either in black or deep brown, with the brand’s famous stripe and laces in white. A cream high-density mesh version also debuted with either red or blue stripes. The convergence of these two Japanese labels seems to be a natural fit, where shared values and perspectives are translated onto the runway. This being their second collaboration, we hope there will be more to come in the future.
