A very good example of this perfect synergy is the latest visual offering by The Cope (aka David Anthony Curley and Joe Furlong), which arrives in the form of Oíche / Back On My Bullshit 10-minute video.
It's not easy to combine two singles into a joint music video and make it all make sense. The Cope knows how to do it, as shown by their just released new audiovisual piece which is a celebration of dichotomy and diversity. The Ireland-hailing duo, with roots now set in Dublin and Berlin, demonstrates the importance that aesthetics and image have in their musical project, collaborating with some outstanding profiles that leave no one indifferent. The first half of the music video corresponds to their single Oíche and is starred by James Vu Anh Pham, recognized as one of the best contemporary dancers in the world and winner of the National Dance Awards UK – Outstanding Male Modern Performance 2022.

The video directed by David from The Cope takes us on a journey through the stunning backdrop that is the KMSKA (Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp) in a multisensory experience, a story of liberation and celebration. The second half belongs to the single Back On My Bullshit. The body movement and dance as a way of expressing how we feel continue to be protagonists and casts off the emotions of sadness and salute the potential routes back to happiness.
