Manchester-born DJ, broadcaster, and producer Tarzsa Williams has long been known for blending the warmth of electronic soul with the pulse of modern club culture. At London Fashion Week, she stepped into an increasingly visible role: music director for Nanushka’s Spring/Summer 2026 presentation.
Only her second time shaping a runway’s sonic identity –her debut came earlier this year for Rotate at Copenhagen Fashion Week– Tarzsa approached Nanushka’s catwalk with the ease of a seasoned curator. “Honoured to have collaborated with the incredible Sandra Sándor across this project,” she shared after the show. “The collection celebrates modern dressing, vibrant clashing prints, and the sensory richness of everyday life. The brief was to intertwine the clothes with earthy rhythms from the electronic, Latin and ambient world.”
Her soundtrack reflected that vision. Pulling from artists including Space Afrika, Bikôkô, Sofia Kourtesis, Felix Laband and 5Rhythms, Tarzsa built a layered score of organic percussion, low-slung basslines and atmospheric passages that mirrored the collection’s grounded yet modern aesthetic. “Lots of late nights and several drafts later, we made it happen as a team,” she added, highlighting that her personal standout moment of LFW was “working with a team of amazing women.”
This milestone highlights a creative trajectory that has evolved steadily since her breakthrough in 2019. A trusted NTS resident and frequent BBC Radio 6 Music host, Tarzsa has built a reputation for high-energy, soul-infused sets that feel as at home at Glastonbury’s San Remo as they do in underground spots like De School or London’s Fabric. Dekmantel once called her “a firm favourite among lovers of electronic soul,” a sentiment echoed by peers such as Palms Trax, Call Super and Manchester’s own Mr. Scruff.
