The past few months have been packed with new music for TABLE. We caught up with the Swedish duo a few weeks ago, just before the year wrapped up, as Heal was quietly finding its way into the world and opening a softer, more intimate chapter in their sound. Since then, they’ve shared 02 DISC, their new EP released last Friday, expanding that atmosphere and showing how their ideas continue to grow through collaboration and shared experience.
Heal runs through the conversation as they reflect on time spent touring and the creative closeness that comes from working together. Dublon’s instinctive way of moving between softer moments and club-driven energy plays a key role in shaping the track’s atmosphere and final form. “We truly love this song and the laid-back, dreamy feeling it gives,” they say.
“We really hope that listeners can feel the love for the music we create, and whilst listening, get a sense of community through our message and sonic landscape.” That idea of connection sits at the core of TABLE’s last year, one marked by steady growth and a sense of momentum they hadn’t anticipated this early on. What started as a shared vision has quickly expanded, shaped by the support around them and a desire to build something that reaches beyond the music itself.
Heal has been out for a while now and has started to find its place in people’s playlists. Looking back on these first weeks, what’s stayed with you the most? And how did reconnecting with Dublon after Salve influence the softer, warmer feel of this new track?
We truly love this song and the laid-back, dreamy feeling it gives. For us, it was a happy surprise that Heal found its way to Spotify’s Chill Evening playlist, which really gave it a boost. We’re so inspired by the way Dublon naturally blends both the soft and clubby sound in his music. That sound was something we wanted to explore more together, and it really shaped the way Heal took its final form.
Touring together across Europe clearly fed into the atmosphere of Heal. Was there a specific moment that shaped the track in a way you can still recognise?
Maybe just the time we spent together, honestly, the lightness and ease of simply being together and sharing the experience of playing our music live while exploring all these beautiful places around Europe. One favourite element of the song is the theme melody, which still resonates with us every time.
Your debut EP, 01 DISC, was wide open in scope, pulling from jazz, soul, Latin rhythms and more. As you work on what comes next, what part of your identity as TABLE feels the most important to hold onto?
Authenticity will always be at the centre of what we do, expressed through live-recorded instruments, the space we give for improvisation and letting playfulness take place. We’ll always let our energy and heart pour into the music, and we think that’s also when the art reaches its highest value, we believe.
Collaboration has been a recurring part of your journey, working with voices like Collard, Tamzene, and Ego Ella May. When a third person enters the room, what does it bring out in the two of you?
The way we complement each other becomes so clear. It adds a whole new dimension, especially when working with vocalists like these.
You’ve earned attention from artists across very different spaces, including SG Lewis, Joe Jonas, Young Franco, Morgan Jay, and Braxton Cook. How do you stay grounded creatively while all of that is happening around you?
Getting attention from great artists we look up to is just beyond, and we’re so grateful for it. For us, it’s always been important to stay close to the creative process and keep making music we love — that gives us energy. And also to stay close to the people we care about the most.
“We’ll always let our energy and heart pour into the music, and we think that’s also when the art reaches its highest value.”
Your tracks appear on playlists ranging from Jazz House to Soultronic and Golden Hour. When you see your sound travelling through such different corners of the musical universe, what do you take from that?
What we take from that is definitely that our sound is wide in a sense, and that we’re aiming for something unique. We don’t put our music in a box, and it’s just very encouraging for us that these different playlists can be a sign of that.
You’re gearing up for your first UK headline moment at Brick Lane Jazz Festival. What does preparing for a milestone like that feel like from the inside?
It feels exciting for sure. It’s hard to grasp in a way, but also such an opportunity, an amazing stage to share our sound with our fans and for new listeners to discover our music.
Moons carried a bright, glowing feel, while Heal opened a more tender, layered space. What mood or emotion are you gravitating toward in your next phase?
For our next project, we’d like to gravitate toward an even more clubby sound, still emotional and musically rich. Music that invites you to really dance, yet still carries that ear for colourful, jazz-influenced music.
And to close, since TABLE is built around connection, around sharing a space with people through sound, what do you hope listeners feel when they step into your world in 2026?
We really hope that listeners can feel the love for the music we create, and whilst listening, get a sense of community through our message and sonic landscape. As you listen to TABLE, you feel our joy and passion behind everything, and for that to truly leave its mark on the art.
