Just when Ibiza hits its summer high, boats packed, beach clubs buzzing, and a crowded airport, Soho House decides to slow it all down. Tucked into a nine-acre olive grove in the centre of the island, the new Soho Farmhouse Ibiza opens its doors in Santa Gertrudis, offering members a different pace.
This is the third Farmhouse by Soho House and the first in Spain, and it’s inspired by traditional finca architecture: white façades, terracotta floors, and timber-beamed ceilings. There’s a library with a clay-and-wood ceiling installation by Natalie Rich-Fernández, garden dining with local tapas, and a horseshoe-shaped bar serving Rose Spritz — rosé, elderflower, aperitivo, and a twist of rosemary.
This is the third Farmhouse by Soho House, and the first in Spain. It sits on a nine-acre olive farm in the middle of the island, with white-walled buildings and terracotta tiles. Check-in is through a gravel path lined with palms and agave, straight into a big breezy room perfect for this summer’s getaway. There are fourteen rooms, some in the main house, some in an old stable, and two tucked-away villas. The vibe is rustic: wood beams, soft linens, and a lot of quiet corners. There’s a suite with a private garden and vintage cream Fiats waiting there for when you want to give your legs a break.
The Farm is where you eat, inside if it’s hot, outside under the olive trees if it’s not. The food is Balearic and seasonal: grilled scampi, oysters, dorada carpaccio, a proper lobster sandwich. A lot of it comes from the garden right behind the restaurant. Want to host a dinner? There’s a long table under a pergola that seats fourteen.
As expected, there’s a health club. A fully equipped technogym and an outdoor space for yoga, barre, and breathwork. And for anyone serious about recovery: cold plunges, infrared saunas, and three open-air onsen tubs looking out onto the orchard. Treatments include massages, facials by Cowshed and SkinCeuticals, and a gold gua sha ritual. There’s a smoothie bar, mani-pedis, IV drips, and a welcome wellness drink with collagen, magnesium, or whatever you’re into.
Next to the Health Club is Odeum, a concept store curated by the team behind Scorpios. Inside, you’ll find fashion, jewelry, and art from over forty brands —including Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Nensi Dojaka, Hereu, and more. Curated by Kate Bryan, the art across the property ties back to the Balearic textiles, ceramics and sculptures. As well, there's Javier Riera’s outdoor light projection, his first for Soho House. Works by Stefan Brüggemann and local name Mar Guerrero round it out.
Tucked away from the party playlists and packed beach clubs, this new Farmhouse offers something rarer: space to breathe, eat well, float, and not look at your phone for a while. Definitely worth checking in.
