Sleek Teeth
Embrace uncertainty

While humans continue trying to keep everything under control, coordinating our lives through a planner and doing our best to avoid unforeseen events, life continues to surprise us by proving it is impossible to anticipate them. The LA-based duo Sleek Teeth embraces uncertainty in their new single, Endless, which chronicles unpredictable paths, the unexpected, and how to navigate them. The single comes along with a music video featuring Krista Frank and directed by Adrian Stucker, and it's a sneak peek of their debut EP, which is scheduled to be released on October 4th.
"One minute you're in a place that feels familiar, and suddenly things take an unexpected turn, and everything is thrown into chaos. You can walk backwards through all the steps looking for warning signs that you might have missed, but there are just some things you could never have seen coming," the duo Sleek Teeth responds when asked about the starting point of their new release, a melodic, danceable darkwave offering with an anthemic chorus. “Sometimes you have to embrace uncertainty to move forward,” they add when talking about a way of understanding life that accepts that having everything under control is impossible while channeling emotions through music.
Delivering moody, melodic electronic music with an energy that feels right at home on the dancefloor of a shadowy underground nightclub, Sleek Teeth, who launched onto the LA music scene with their high-energy, hook-laden debut single Gone, are slated to play the LA darkwave music festival Substance in November. In less than a month they will be releasing their debut EP, which will allow us to learn more about their creative universe and where their musical project is headed.
