Sivasdescalzo launches Foundation Series, the eco-conscious first apparel collection with which they prove to know what truly matters: sticking to their groundwork. The collection features six pieces of outstanding design options. Varying from coordinates of the retailer’s Barcelona and Madrid stores to a classic logo alternative, SVD makes sure that with each wear no two pieces will look alike. Thus, wearers will also stay loyal to their own style.
Sivasdescalzo Foundation Series is formed by a selection of oversized organic cotton t-shirts and sweaters locally made in Barcelona. Quality is totally ensured by using a special, vintage wash process and cracked serigraphy details.
The collection is presented by a fresh and poetic fashion film –directed by Guillem Cruells– and editorial –shot by Lucho Vidales–, featuring model Andrés Sanjuan. Poetry is brought to professional levels when shooting the campaign in the actual factory where the collection was produced. Going back to where we belong was it, right?
SVD gives us a lesson on proving that technology, well-used, can even be helpful for nature. Why don’t we use our knowledge to protect our origins, though? Why don’t we focus our efforts on securing our existence? Why aren’t we… intelligent?
