After learning the hard way that vulnerability requires courage and sometimes you are just forced into it, RUXA was determined to pursue music and make her songs a way of sharing her life experiences and channeling her feelings with special attention to the meaning and message of her musical project. The singer/songwriter, actress, and model now shares her latest single, Campfire, which comes along with a music video directed by Oliver Blair and produced by Spore Media and presents Ruxandra Chitescu and burlesque dancer Anna Campbell.
“It tells the story of a romance that stands outside time and public gaze. It is clandestine, sacred, and wild, but fragile. It is the fire you light on a cold night when suddenly everything becomes possible,” Ruxa responds when we ask her about this new release, which took some time with her before sharing it with her audience, as it’s the most personal song she’s written so far, so it needed space to settle. “It came at a time when I was taking a new chance on love, and that story changed me in ways I couldn't have imagined.”
The multifaceted artist, who graduated in acting in Bucharest in 2019 and moved one year later to London to get her second degree in Popular Music, has not stopped releasing songs as an independent artist since then, working as a model and film actress, and tapping into her emotions and visions through music. Welcome to this sensory universe in which desire meets defiance and a love that burns, a burst of burlesque beauty, lovers and fighters.
