Rabanne Creative Director, Julien Dossena, and H&M Creative Advisor, Ann-Sofie Johansson, held a surprise party during Paris Fashion Week with a special appearance by Cher, who arrived at midnight and joined the crowd to sing her hit Believe. To celebrate this new collab, other celebrities like Tyga, Elle Fanning, Peggy Goy, Robyn (who also performed at the event), Iris Law, and Alton Mason arrived in glimmering style at the event.
For fashion insiders, there is no rest from collaborations. For H&M, this is their second of the year, after a highly successful and viral capsule with Mugler launched in May that caused euphoria and chaos all over the world, while Julien Dossena was the guest creative director of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Haute Couture F/W 2023 runway show back in July. Not only that, he also launched a new makeup line amid Rabanne’s rebranding.
The details of this collaboration confirm that the line includes more than forty ready-to-wear pieces and thirty accessories for women and men, blending Rabanne’s modern codes, like their characteristic metallic mesh with a touch of‘70s flair that brings, on one hand, absolute glamour, and on the other, emblematic pieces. In addition, there will also be a line of over thirty household items, an initiative by the director of Rabanne. These products will range from 39.99 euros to 599 euros for some of the highest quality pieces like dresses.
This new collection marks the culmination of a decade of brand-building efforts for Rabanne and is a sign of H&M’s broad audience understanding of both audiences and creative ambitions. The collaboration will be available starting November 9 in physical stores and online.
